Salmon is a popular main course these days and nothing makes your salmon sing like The Canadian Birch Company’s Amber Birch Syrup. This weekend I am at the Seasons Christmas Show at the International Centre in Mississauga and many of you who came by our booth are looking for recipes to make this fine fish taste fantastic. This post is for Karri and all the other salmon fans we met this weekend. Enjoy!
3 tbsp grainy Dijon mustard
2 tbsp The Canadian Birch Company Amber Birch Syrup
½ tsp smoked paprika
4 x 4oz salmon fillets
Preheat oven to 400.
Line a baking sheet with foil.
In a small bowl, combine Dijon mustard, The Canadian Birch Company Amber Birch Syrup, paprika and s&p.
Place the salmon fillets on the baking sheet. Top evenly with birch syrup mixture.
Roast until just cooked through, 10 – 12 minutes.
Serve with wedges of lemon.
