Domestic Shipping Policy
Shipment processing time
All orders are processed within 2-3 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays. Once the shipment is provided to the shipping carrier, The Canadian Birch Company no longer has control over the amount of time the carrier takes to delivery the shipment to the customer. The estimated time of arrival will be communicated to you directly from the shipping company.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.
Shipping rates & delivery estimates
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. For Canadian Maritimes destination orders, there may be an additional surcharge assessed on international shipments after you purchase your order. This policy is in place because our products are heavy in large quantities due to the amount of glass in such shipments and the shipping rates may be much higher than the flat rate charged at checkout. If this is the case, The Canadian Birch Company will contact you by email or telephone to notify you of this charge and give you the opportunity to cancel the order for full refund at that time if the extra shipping charge is not agreeable to you.
Shipment confirmation & Order tracking
You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email from the specific carrier once your order has shipped and you may track the shipment as outlined in the email.
Customs, Duties and Taxes
The Canadian Birch Company Ltd is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).
Damages
The Canadian Birch Company Ltd. is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact The Canadian Birch Company so we can evaluate.

International Shipping Policy
