Birch Roasted Brussel Sprouts & Bacon Jam

Ha! Now that we have your attention, we are talking about Amber Birch Syrup + Brussel Sprouts = LOVE! And if not everyone in your household is a is a fan of Brussel Sprouts, top this recipe up with our Birch Bacon Jam to add more sweet flavor and well, BACON...YUM! If Brussel Sprouts still don't float your boat, substitute them with potatoes, carrots, or yams. 

Birch Bacon Jam is made from gluten free ingredients and Amber Birch Syrup is both free from gluten and vegan.

Birch Roasted Brussel Sprouts

Preheat: 350 F

Serves: 4

Prep Time: 10 minutes

NOTE: For a vegan version, omit the Birch Bacon Jam.

2 cups of halved Brussel Sprouts

1 Tbsp of Olive Oil

1 Tbsp of Amber Birch Syrup

1/2 tsp Nutmeg

1/4 tsp each Salt and Pepper

1/4 cup Birch Bacon Jam

Toss 2 cups of halved Brussel Sprouts with the Olive Oil, Amber Birch Syrup, Nutmeg, Salt and Pepper to taste.

Place in a roasting pan and cook at 350 F for 30 to 40 minutes. 

Optional, toss with warmed Birch Bacon Jam before serving. 



Switch out the Olive oil with Coconut or Avocado oil for other healthy flavors.
